Welcome to TYSC

The Telluride Youth Soccer Club is the official independent youth soccer organization for Telluride kids in grades 1-12. TYSC was founded in 1995 in an effort to complement school programs and make youth soccer available in both spring and fall. Since that time, we’ve grown to be one of the largest athletic programs in the region, offering multiple league divisions, tournaments and summer camps. Our mission is to instill and nurture a passion for soccer while developing character, discipline and desire, encouraging young athletes to reach their highest potential. We strive to create life-long athletes.

Our U8 program is focused on creating a fun, positive environment and instilling a love for soccer. Through age appropriate drills, players will be introduced to basic soccer skills and knowledge of the game.

  • Team oriented play
  • 5v5 games every week
  • No travel commitment
  • Optional game opportunities in Montrose
  • Cost: $150

Fall Season: 8/31/23 – 9/28/23

Spring U9 Girls & Boys (co-ed)
2015 & 2016*
*2016 2nd graders will be permitted if exceeding the U8 level.

This new program was created as an opportunity to bridge the gap between U8 and U10.  For players who will be transitioning to U10 in the fall and may need additional development in skills and knowledge.  Focus will be on continuing to improve basic skills while introducing game concepts with positions, throw ins, corners, etc.

  • 7v7
  • Practice 2x a week – Days TBD
  • Games in Montrose 2 weekends
  • Cost: $225

U10 Girls & Boys
2014 & 2015

Our U10 program focuses on beginning to challenge those basic skills and increase a players tactics and awareness on the field.  Increased attention span and player participation will be expected to allow for more focused drills and learning.

  • Practice 3x/week
  • 7v7 games
  • Mountain League Games – Fall
  • Tournaments – Spring
  • Cost: $300
  • Uniforms: $100 (if needed)

U12 Girls & Boys
2012 & 2013

Our U12 program is a point where expectations are increased.  Players’ skills are challenged and there is more focus placed on understanding the game and having purpose with their play. Competition levels increase along with player intensity.  Game time play is based on practice participation, work ethic and player attitude.

  • 9v9 games
  • Mountain League Games – Fall
  • Tournaments – Spring
  • Cost: $300
