New TYSC Team Members
Jack Tarr (our newest addition to the board): Jack Tarr, a 13-year resident of Telluride, brings a wealth of experience and passion for soccer to our club. With five years as a volunteer assistant coach for the Telluride High School boys’ and girls’ teams, Jack has been a dedicated supporter of local youth sports. Before moving to Telluride, he served as Co-Commissioner for a 1,200-player AYSO recreational league in Orange County, California, where he implemented the AYSO coach training curriculum and coached both AYSO and club soccer for boys and girls. At the youth club level, Jack had the privilege of assisting legendary Peruvian World Cup right-winger Juan José Muñante López during his tenure as head coach. A holder of a Category Level “C” License from the United States Soccer Federation since 1993, Jack combines his extensive coaching credentials with a lifelong love of the game, dating back to his days playing as a child and intramurally “when dinosaurs roamed the earth.”
